What a great place, I could go on and on about how well they treated us while we were there.  They also have top notch facilities to do just about anything to a boat and they have heated buildings to store boats over the winter.  But the best part, they had fresh goodies and coffee in the morning.  Anyhow, we hit the last lock on the Erie Canal (yay) and did all 6 locks on the Oswego Canal today.  My side is a little fatigued but all in all it was a good day. Any guesses as to what it is?  We figured it out right away and it&#8217;s another thing that we just MUST have. Man, where there a lot of them.  I&#8217;m glad we didn&#8217;t get pooped on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/lumenita.com\/luckydog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Travel-day-19.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s a video of us leaving a lock.  It&#8217;s an unusual setup because there&#8217;s a draw bridge at the end of it. We then walk up the street for some dinner.  Doug gets a Reuben sandwich and I get the turkey sandwich and soup special.  The description for the special is spot on, my sandwich??  Just bread and turkey, no mayo, no lettuce, no tomato.
