A great day to be on the bay! It was a bit cloudy, but no wind and no waves made it an easy trip. Doug at the helm gave the three of us time to rubber neck at the front of the boat. I’m not sure if we’re Musketeers or Stooges, but I couldn’t pick any better travel-mates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On a very somber note, we passed the Frances Scott Key Bridge that got hit by the container ship Dali on March 26, 2024, at 1:28 a.m. The bridge collapsed after the Dali struck one of the supports (the photo above is a screen shot from Wikipedia).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We arrive at Harbor East Marina around 1:30. The staff here are great, helped us get set up, gave us some information. We headed right behind the marina to the James Joyce Irish Pub and Restaurant for a late lunch. I got the prime rib dip sandwich with house kettle chips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A huge thank you to my brother for most of the pictures in this post! Also, a BIG shout out to Pete for driving to Baltimore to get John so he could ride with us today.
