We hired a captain to help us for the trip from Bay City, Michigan to Tidewater Yacht Marina in Portsmouth, Virginia. We had a rough start to our trip home; from electrical problems to engine issues but we finally shoved off June 3rd, 2022. We traveled 1236 nautical miles through 38 locks and had to stop short of our home port of Portsmouth due to bad weather. We spent a couple of days in Little Creek and the weather cleared for us to make the the 2 hour trip to Tidewater Yacht Marina.
