We found our loop boat in Bay City, Michigan. We wanted to meet the current owners and found out that they were visiting their daughter in Wake Forest. After our meeting, we drew up an offer to buy the Carver 466. We scheduled a visit to view the boat in person. That visit went great, so we scheduled a survey of the boat around New Years. The boat was in dry/climate controlled storage for the on-land survey. Thankfully there were no surprises for the survey. The sea trial was scheduled for late May. There were a few items to be worked out after the sea trial, but we had confidence that the current owners would fix them. On June 2nd we took possession of our boat.
