We’ve been attending a conference that is dedicated to folks doing the Great Loop. The AGLCA puts on a Rendezvous in the spring and fall that goes over all sorts of things about the trip. But today was also dinghy day! We purchased a dinghy from Bourbon City Yacht Tenders out of Louisville, Kentucky. What a great experience. Dustin Kidd has been superb to work with, I would highly recommend them. We got it in the water late this afternoon and traveled about 2 1/2 miles upriver to get to the marina. And, (are you sitting down?) it only took about 45 minutes, it wasn’t even close to a 3 hour tour. You’ve seen the picture, not a big boat, not a big motor. It was fun to share this with Jessica and my brother John.

We arrived safely back at the marina. The wind was too high to get it on the boat so we parked it at a slip two doors down from our boat.
