Always making friends, CJ found his newest bestie. CJ met Jordan, the daughter of a longtime friend. She’s an amazing young woman with a huge heart; CJ picks his bestie’s well.
We had a good morning with a walk to Spa Creek to find a friends boat. It was good to get out and let CJ stretch his legs. This afternoon dear friends of mine drove in from Pasadena. I met Jude and her sister Cyn at my first job after college; yes, we’ve been friends for a very long time. We also, finally, got to meet Jude’s daughter Jordan; and Jude and Cyn were able to finally meet Doug. As you saw in the previous picture, CJ is enamored with Jordan. We had dinner at Carpaccio Tuscan Kitchen, and it was a great choice! Doug got the lasagna, one of his favorites. I got the Risotto Con Carne (risotto with mignon tips, crispy pancetta, carmelized onions, carrots, asparagus tips and marscapone cheese). All of the dishes were delicious and the presentation was so good, we all took pictures of them. The waiter, Damian, even said that the orchid flower was edible, only Jordan was brave enough to eat hers.

It was so much fun catching up with them, reminiscing about old times and the fun we had. Here’s to good friends and good times!
