It’s National Aquarium Day!

We get up and have a hurried breakfast, then head to the aquarium. We get there just as it opens and there’s already a line! We take CJ with us and he gets to experience a lot of new things.

There is so much to see and do here! There are 5 floors filled with aquariums (duhh), exhibits from all over the world, reptiles and birds. We even had a 4D experience; Tim and Jerome watched sharks and I watched dolphins. It was very cool.

Although they don’t have a show any longer, we timed it just right to watch the dolphins have lunch. The trainers would get them to do all sorts of fun things. Even CJ was enjoying the action!

Some friends of ours that have a house in Clarksville live in Baltimore. The came to the boat for a visit and we went back to little Italy for dinner. Again, the food was really good.

The real Italian dinner must end with canoli and a chocolate topped creme puff.

It finally happened today, CJ slipped getting on the boat and in he went. CJ wasn’t sure if he wanted to do a little swimming or get back on the boat. But, Doug was right there to rescue him and they both got drenched. Another good day, and as you can see, CJ deserved some treats too, we got him some peanut butter doggie biscotti.

My, my, my… what a day you guys! So full of adventures and the watery world beneath the waves and tide pools. All the food looks yummy, and I had no idea Jerome was such a big crab!

So, CJ… glad you made it past your little accident (wink, wink). I told you a little swim would look like a slip, and then you could be like all the fishies you saw today! Good boy! We’re glad he and Doug are okay, btw. And we’re delighted his doggie biscotti came in a… well, you know the rest.

Thank you all for letting us enjoy the day with you through your photos and memories, you guys. A day everyone will talk about for a while, yeah?

    God bless you guys!
