Last day in Baltimore

We get up and have breakfast on the boat. It’s bitter sweet, Jessica, Tim and Jerome are heading home today. It sure was fun having them aboard. Jessica gives CJ a hug goodbye and off they go.

It was also a day of reunions. Our friends that live in Pasadena, MD came up for a visit. It was our second visit with Jude and Cyn, they came to Annapolis also. We seem to have a food theme when we get together and today was no different. We went to the Rusty Scupper for a brunch buffet. The picture above is the second plate for me, it has a small waffle with chocolate chips with a side of cheesy scrambled eggs. Oh yeah, food centered gatherings are a great thing! It sure was fun visiting with them, it’s always a good time filled with wonderful memories and laughter.

The second reunion for the day was with a friend we worked with at NCEMC. He and his wife are on a sailboat and got to Baltimore this afternoon. We went to the James Joyce Irish Pub for dinner. It was really fun catching up and talking about their sailing adventures and what they have planned for the season. I hope we get to see them again someplace before we part ways; us heading west and them heading north.

Above are pictures from this evening during our walk back to the boat after dinner. I just love the original cobblestone street just outside the marina, oh if the cobblestones could talk! And a picture of the skyline from the marina. Baltimore has been a really nice place to visit, but we’re ready to get to the next place. We’re headed to Havre de Grace, MD in the morning. I think we’ll stay there for a couple of days before heading to Delaware.

Beautiful update in so many ways, Sis!
We hope that T & J & J had safe travels… I know Jerome and CJ already miss each other.

How was the redux at the James Joyce Irish place? And the cobblestones and skyline were really neat photos! Will be nice to see your next stop!

    God bless you guys!
