A mini travel day

,

So we changed marinas today. It was in the plan, we moved to the other side of the channel to be closer to downtown. We are at a marina called Utsch’s, which was our first choice in Cape May. They didn’t have room for us Thursday night, so we stayed across the channel at Canyon Club Resort Marina. When I asked the lady at Utsch’s about getting in to the marina, she said just cross the channel and look for the light house. I don’t know about you, but it’s a little smaller than I had imagined, ha ha. It’s a family owned business and everyone is nice, they even gave us a bag full of information and goodies when we checked in.

Just after we got settled it started to rain. As you can see CJ is a wee bit bored with the rain.

After the rain stopped, we walked over to the Lobster House for lunch. We ordered “to go” and took it outside by the waterfront to eat. It was really good, Doug got the seafood platter, I got a lobster salad sandwich.

Later this afternoon we took the dinghy over to visit a friend at a neighboring marina. It was pretty fun puttering around anyplace we wanted. Doug got us around with ease, we’ll probably go exploring again soon.
