Redefining excitement!

We have a few things to get done today and at the top of the list is changing the fuel filters. We get one engine done and will get to the filters on the second engine tomorrow. But the real excitement???? The marina manager loaned us his truck and we went to Wal-Mart!!! If that doesn’t scream excitement I don’t know what does. Actually, we spent quite a bit of time in Wal-Mart because once we are on the Erie Canal getting supplies and provisions will be more difficult.

We have dinner at the same restaurant we ate at last night but tonight we sit outside. It’s a pretty night with a slight breeze. The sun is going down and it’s a pretty picture seeing all of our boats on the dock. Another looper couple have dinner with us and it’s fun getting to know them.

We get seafood ceviche as an appetizer. It’s pretty good, but not as good as Doug’s Aunt Karen’s.

We got a chicken dish to share, sorry no picture of that. But, dessert? Yeah, our favorite creme brulee. A great way to finish dinner.

As we leave, I get a picture of the Hudson River looking south. Good timing, the red and green buoys have their lights on.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I did laundry today. It just doesn’t get any better than this, ha ha.
