We set out from Young’s Point and we don’t go far before we see St. Peter’s on-the-rock. It’s a church that is only accessible by boat. Really pretty setting!

We pass through many narrow passages that have rocks just outside the channel. We also come across this group of rowers. They were all women and most seemed to be about my age, go get ’em ladies!
We did have some trouble today. At one of the locks, Doug discovers that both of our thrusters are not working. This becomes important when we are going through locks. We get through that okay but need to get to a marina to diagnose the problem. We do find a marina just before the Bobcaygeon lock. We had trouble finding it and went into the wrong cove, got in to shallow water and hit some rocks. We’re pretty sure both props are damaged. We did find the marina and got in. We’re hoping they can pull the boat tomorrow and see how severe the damage is. Not sure how long this process will take so stay tuned. Please pray for us to have patience, wisdom and that the damage isn’t too severe and can be fixed in a short period of time.

However, one of us had some fun. We let CJ take a swim off the boat retrieving sticks. He had a ball.

It’s a late dinner, the sun is going down. Time to try and relax and get some rest. It’s been a long and sad day for The Lucky Dog.
