Another busy day at The Lucky Dog, but not before a good nights sleep! Some of today was spent showing John what to expect in a lock, line handling, moving fenders around and tying knots; there might have even been some navigation in there! John is a really smart and I’m certain he picked things up quickly. One of the guys at the marina, we’ll call him Marina Doug, gave Doug and John a ride to Bobcaygeon. While there they stopped by the lock to see how things work. There’s John in the middle of the lock gate!

They took Marina Doug to lunch for being such a great guy. Without hesitation, Marina Doug has driven The Lucky Dog crew all sorts of places and kept an eye on the boat while we were gone. For lunch was fish-n-chips, poutine and butter chicken. Poo-teen really is good, I’ll have to experiment to try and make it at home.

While eating lunch at the Royal Moose, they saw a moose. Can you find the moose in this picture?? ha ha
The props are due to come in early tomorrow morning. Please pray that the boat can be hauled out and the props put on early enough for them to start heading home tomorrow.
