Scotland has Nessie, well the Chesapeake has Chessie!
I know it looks like all we do is horse around but today we did get some things done, okay, not that much, ha ha. The boat races were cancelled today because of wind, so that was out. We took CJ over to the park and played for quite a while; we played stick, ball and Frisbee. After that we walked to town to check out the Harriet Tubman museum; and that was closed. So we stopped by a restaurant to grab some lunch. As you can see, I had the Chessie burger. Behind my son’s smash burgers, this was the best burger I’ve had.

This is one creepy tree! It’s growing all over the sidewalk and has tons the gnarly bumps and twists. Reminds me of the tree from Harry Potter.

Local lore has it that if you paint the ceilings of all of your entryways this pale blue, then any spirits that enter the house will not stay and leave the house by going upward out the roof. Again with the creepy.

We ended the day on the boat with a yummy spaghetti dinner cooked by Doug. We went to the bridge to see the sunset.
