Annapolis by scooter

We started the day by taking the scooters to Naval Bagels to get an assortment of bagels. On the way back to the boat we saw a crew for Navy practicing. Those guys can really scoot. By the way, the bagels are fantastic. I had an everything bagel and it’s probably one of the best I’ve had.

There is a small dog area in the complex that had some agility equipment. CJ enjoyed going through them. Here he his going up one side and down the other with ease.

Walking back to the boat we encountered this brave squirrel. This little guy just stood there staring at CJ, just daring him to do something. He followed us all the way back to the dock, taunting CJ the whole way. CJ was such a good boy, keeping his eye on him, but not charging or chasing him.

Around suppertime, my brother John and grandson Jerome arrived at the boat. We got them unloaded and walked to dinner at Blackwall Hitch. Doug and I shared a cup of lobster bisque, which was out of this world good. Our dinners were equally good. Time for bed, tomorrow is going to be a fun-filled day.

Dinner with Jerome is always an adventure. How he got butter on his nose is anyone’s guess!
