After getting organized for the day, we hop on the dinghy and go for a ride. It was CJ’s first real experience riding and he did great!

We took the dinghy across the harbor to watch the Coast Guard perform training exercises. The helicopter was doing figure eights and then practiced dropping and picking up rescue swimmers. I’m glad they practice so hard and hope we never have to use their services.

We then puttered around the bend to a secluded small beach where we let CJ go for a swim and romp around. There was only one stick on the beach and boy it was a whopper!
Try as we may to keep him clean, right after he got out of the water he just had to roll in the sand!

Doesn’t he just look so proud of himself. Guess who’s getting a bath when we get back to the boat? You guessed it, all of us, ha ha.

Just horsing around with our friends before dinner.

The four of us take an uber to Sunset Beach to watch the sun go down. We get seated for dinner right before the sun goes out of sight. Perfect end to the day.
